Looks like we'll have a front row seat for these glorious old birds!
From the Airshow:
Not 1, Not 2, but three P51 Mustangs will be on full display at the Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show Nov. 6 & 7 at the Charlotte Monroe Executive Airport.
Scooter and his baby Quicksilver along with RT Dixon and Swamp Fox will give you a front row seat to precision aerobatic control, while Alex "Doc" Newsome and Angels' Playmate will leave you wanting more.

Lets go ahead and start to get those Mess Fees in people.

Will need space to set up a second fly for Sat night officer’s mess. So far I have Capt Cachia, WO Meyer, and you on the list. Have room for a fourth person. Do you want to ask the press to join you?
I will be the waiter for the evening, and yes Frank, I know how to serve wine. You are in decent hands.

As long as it is next to the kitchen fly. Don’t want to walk a long way carrying your steak, unless you are happy with the five second rule.

Officer's Mess will be for invited members of Charlie Company, 505th PIR. This will include the CO Cachia, XO Peterson, Chief Meyer and Honored Reporter Swiers.

C Company personnel are asked to check there paper work, if you do not have a Class "A" pass, tell me when you sign in on the unit roster at Monroe. I may already have one typed up. If not I will do it at that time.

If you are planning on going to the hanger dance let me know now. The time line is tight between supper and the dance. Bad time to pull KP if you're going to the dance.
Once the mess list is final Monday night I'm making the KP Roster. No last minute changes because you forgot. Three KP's Friday night.

I'll be there. Wont be on site till late afternoon/early evening due to work. Don't have a WWII era cot/sleeping bag/tent so I'll work around it.
