Hey y'all. Would anyone have a loaner uniform Gene could borrow. He's working toward getting his boots. Not sure if he'll have them in time or not.

Question regarding weapons area. Do they (Sgts) normally provide the displayed weapons and in their absence do we need to ensure troopers bring various period weapons for that area?
Along those same lines will individual troopers need to bring their own weapons?
I don't mind bringing some if needed, just much easier to not have to load all of them out along with the other gear.

With Darrell and Ralph out that pretty much wipes out anything above a Garand.
Anything above that would be appreciated.
Individual Soldiers should bring their individual weapons.

According to the Event Coordinator for Monroe there are over 400 reenactors registered for Monroe.
While the "Village" area appears to be quite large when vacant it will fill up quickly.
All of the 400+ will need our cooperation hats on.

Tent update.
We will now have 8 wall tents sleeping 16.
Plan to put 10 in the squad tent - stacked close - all gear under the bed.
That puts 5 in the pup tents or under the overflow fly. Anybody in the overflow fly has to pack up in the morning and stow your gear somewhere. No Farby stuff in the open - that includes that $150 civilian cot you just had to buy instead of the $55 period one. If it rains the overflow fly will become the lounge. People tend to sit on anything they can without asking - be warned.
