Attention all troops.
Based on numbers - troops with cots will have first priority in the squad tent. Plan on all your gear either being under the cot or on your cot. Watch the beginning of the Movie Battle Groups to see what we're working for. So pack accordingly.
Those of you who plan on sleeping on the ground because you don't have a cot will be sleeping in a pup tent
We need to know how many of those there are. Sound off if you'll be sleeping on the ground. You will be sleeping two per tent. Pack accordingly.
Now, if you're a ground sleeper do you have a half or full pup tent? If it's a half is it buttons or snaps?
If more troops show up with cots than the tent will "safely" hold selection will be by age. Older members get in first. So you can either set up your cot under one of the flies or go to Ground.

My buddy Gene Smith is coming. Just sent him registration info today. Not sure if he'll have his uniform by Monroe so if anyone is willing to loan him a uniform that would be great. He may be doing leg with me and Bradd. Frank I think me and darrell paid for him twice so just count that extra towards monroe. Also he'll have his paint with him again so keep that in mind guys.

What happened to Thomas?
I think he gave out about 3 different names to folks last weekend. Doc and I got the Thomas one. You'll see a Thomas under Davenport in the list above.

C/505th Mess
Deadline for chow is rapidly approaching.
If you are eating in C/505th's mess you must have your $25 mess fee into the Captain before the cut off. The Captain will give the list to the Mess Sergeant and the Mess Sergeant will purchase chow for the people who paid.
If you don't pay you don't eat.
The policy of prepay was instituted a long time ago when a number of people said they would pay on site when they showed up. The mess bought food including them - and then they didn't show which meant they didn't pay. Didn't take many no shows to put a dent in the mess fund.
We have 29 troopers on the roster for Monroe.

Troopers of C/505th PIR!
PLEASE REMEMBER: Staff Sergeant McCall and Sergeant Hicks will NOT be with us at Monroe! We are all going to have to step it up in setup and tear down and the weapons area.
