Anybody that shows up early and gets in the general area of our position don't start digging your hole because you want a nice place to sleep. We'll take a good look at the area and tie in the squads and MG Team before you guys start digging.

The question of a sign-out sheet for loaned weapons and gear has come up. Unit owned weapons and gear will be issued on a memorandum receipt at the company HQ by myself. Anyone loaning out their personally owned weapons and gear are responsible for the issue and return of their loaned out property. I can give you a blank receipt that you can use for the transaction, but, it is not the unit's, or my, responsibility to keep tract of personal property.

3rd Platoon Order of Battle (As of 27 January) This looks to be the final organization. At the Platoon rear - S/Sgt Jenkins, Gentle A, Smith R, Beaver Thompson Platoon Sergeant - T/Sgt Peterson Platoon MG Team - Sgt Dale, Pfc Dale, Pvt Hyde FO's/Scouts - Varnes and Gatlin, A 81mm Mortar Crew - S/Sgt Craver A, Patterson 1st Squad - Sgt Price, Corporals Elling and Wescott (MG Team), Pvt Bell, Pvt Bernard, PFC Davenport 2nd Squad - S/Sgt Smith, Corporal Lashley, Pfc Jeffers, Pfc Helms, Pvt Franklin, Pvt Landereth, Pvt Shaw, Pvt Shaw, Pvt Cole Attached to Company HQ - Gerty/Phillbeck Driver & Chief Meyer Gunner, Kalamja w/jeep, Lt Howard (Medical Staff).
Arriving Saturday AM - That I know of - Varnes, Gatlin, Sgt Dale, Pvt Dale
Looks like we'll have 19 for Friday night operations.

Reminder - the weather should be clear - mostly for the event .
But the forecast is for a low of 23 degrees Friday and Saturday mornings.
That will be cold for most of you. Take individual precautions.

At reminder to all 505th personnel and attached units: After checking in with the Enfield event registration, sign in on the unit roster. It will be under my fly at the company HQ, in the heavy camp. Do not sign in on the 505 unit roster if you are doing German, or fighting with a unit not under the command of Lt. Cachia and T/Sgt. Peterson.

From the event staff "...total count was 160 85 cancelled due to either Covid19 or weather concerns...". That's one third of those that planned on coming.
As of our last updated OB we only lost one.
Not bad "3rd platoon", 505th & 508th, not bad at all.
