Information from event staff for the January Enfield Tactical
Event General Information and Schedule:

Theme:
Wacht Am Rhein. Operation Watch on the Rhine
the German Ardennes offensive of December 1944. A Battle of the bulge private tactical event. This will be a generic event open to individuals and units in a proper impression for the campaign.

Medical:
-There will be certified EMT's on site. Also, arangements have been made with the Halifax County EMS for event medical and emergency situations.
Parking:
-Signs will be posted and Feldgendarme will be on-site to assist.
Restroom Facilities:
-Portable Toilets will be available.
Camping:
-Joint Axis / Allied period correct camping area outside the engagement area.
Meals / Water:
-Individuals and/or units are responsible for their own meals and water.
Campfires / Firewood:
-Camp fires are allowed as long as they are in a fire pit and filled in before leaving the site. Firewood is available on site, but must be gathered.
Vehicles:
-Contact event Host with any questions.
Registration::
-Registration is available either early via Eventbrite (link will be provided in the comment section) or on site.
Event Fee:
-Event fee is $20.00 per individual. Payable either onsite or early via Paypal at JDA9569@AOL.com. If paying via paypal be sure to include the name you will be registered under.
Event Schedule:
-Early arrival and set up is allowed on Thursday January 28 beginning at 1200 Hours.
-Event will officially begin at 12:00 Hours on Friday with Position Preparation, Mine laying, camp prep etc.
-There will be a Joint Command Briefing at 1900 Hours.
-Event will "go hot" at 2000 Hours Friday January 29 with night ops until 2300 Hours.
-Saturday January 30 event will begin at 0800 Hours.
- Event Registration for walk on will close at 0900 Hours on Saturday January 30.
-Saturday Engagements will end at 1700 Hours.

Event Scenarios:
- Night ops will be determined based upon site and light conditions and also based upon the number of participants available for nighttime engagements.
-Saturday Scenario. Late December 1944, the OKW (German High Command) Has ordered the cessation of offensive operations, Allied forces are not quite ready to begin a counter offensive. Both sides will begin in prepared positions. With a day of small offensives to gain better tactical positions, counter attacks, patrols, position prep and maintenance, casualty collection, life in the field.
Main Stream Reenacting / Immersion:
-Though not a full Immersion event this will also NOT be a typical run and gun tactical. While in the field this event will be as immersive as individuals and units make it. It is up to participants to make the event immersive not only with props , but also with attitude and expectations.
