All-American Week. Airborne Museum Ft Bragg
May 21-25th
Set up on Sunday the 21st breakdown the 25th.
Static display of unit assets and vehicles. Troopers do not need to arrive Sunday or stay the entire event duration.
Troopers will need to obtain passes via All -American gate unless possessing military ID.
More details to follow.

Medical issues will prevent me from staying more than 2 days. As of now, Tuesday and Wednesday. AAR on Denton may take a day or two.

Think we are in for a problem with AAW.
Mess Trailer will not be on site! At this point I will state again, as the number of troopers dwindles so will displays, canvas and food prep.
For the first time I can not make set up either and it is possible I may not make it at all. Swiers, Gentle, Jelen, Elling have already said they have other commitments.
The rest of our troopers will need to step up to fill these gaps. If you are unable to attend please state it now.
We might have to just be there on Tuesday and Wednesday.

OK, things like this happens once in a while.
We have alot of troopers that can NOT attend this year.
This includes myself and Adam. I contracted a Lung infection which will prevent me from attending due to all the meds I'm on.
Adam's wife is very ill and will require him to stop his studies and be home for her. So, he will only be on site a minimal amount of time during AAW.
C & S is proposing that we do what we can on Tuesday and Wednesday and call it done for this year. We all look forward to this but I see no other options.
At this point our NCOs will be in charge of the unit. Bradd and I may just show up for that Wednesday. Chief will make a decision soon.
No food prep either unless you survivors want to come up with something.
Finally, in your spare minutes now and then please say a prayer for Emily.
So, bottom line is neither trailer will be on site, you may have to register your weapon(s) at the All American Gate.
I will inform the museum of our limited presence. 508th only has 3 going.
