ATTENTION 505 PERSONNEL ATTENDING TOCCOA: The event is a week and a half away, get started prepping and cleaning your uniforms and gear. Put a coat of polish on your boots. If they haven't been polished in awhile, put a coat on each day until you build up a base coat so they will take a shine. Get any request for loaner gear in now. Loaner gear will not be issued without first filling out and signing a memorandum receipt so we know what gear has been loaned out and who has it. I will retain the receipt until the gear is returned, at which time the receipt is destroyed.

Reminder for those who will be going "out on the town" at night and don't have Class A's.
An acceptable airborne uniform that was popular in Sicily.
Wool shirt with tie and wool pants, jump boots, 42 jacket and garrison cap.

Evening Gents,
Trying to get an idea of who wants to ruck up Mt Currahee. Would be great to go up as a group. 505th & 508th those that want too. As of right now I have a few that want too. It will dark when when we start the ruck!!

Weather is looking pretty good. Partly cloudy with a high in the low 70's for Saturday.

Deadline for mess fees is Monday, 2300! Yes, that is this coming Monday!
Just FYI, we are a go for Monroe, 4-7 November!

Troopers,
If you have a mess kit bring it. There will be spectators everywhere all during the hours of the event. Eating out of your mess kit will just add to our impression.

ATTENTION 505 PERSONNEL ATTENDING TOCCOA: All troopers attending and participating with C Company are reminded to report to the company HQ and sign in on the event roster. At that time you will also verify your emergency contact information and corrections will be made at that time. Class "A" passes will be issued and are to be retained as part of your paper work. They come in handy at Monroe when the MPs ask for for pass.

Looks like those wanting to eat in our Mess are going to make the 2300 deadline. If you have yet to pay and haven't talked to me it will cost you eating downtown for each meal.
I should be on site by 1200 on Friday, traffic permitting. Safe travels men.
