The overall impression will be garrison.
Think - good hair cuts, clean shave every day, very trimmed back mustashe if you have one, HIGHLY shined boots, garrison Caps (wool or khaki - wool preferred) with Glider/Airborne patch (Airborne preferred).
Uniform of the day will be 42's with 82nd patch. If all you have is 42R then they will be accepted.
Those Pathfinders who are active on the Pathfinder display can wear painted 42Rs and jeep caps during working hours.
If there is no Pathfinder display then no Pathfinder uniforms.

We are at two weeks and a few Days out from Toccoa.
We need to start getting in the names of those going so we can get working on needed canvas space and mess count.
Sound off on who is coming.
Right now we have CO, Chief, 1st Sgt, Mess Sgt, Correspondent (Wayne), A Gentle, Mongo, Somerhalder, Gatlin, Dan E, Darrell H, Ronnie S, Ricky J, Steve E, Ron J, Matt V, Greig D........

Also we'll need canvas requirements. Right now down at the bank square we have the Kitchen fly and 2 tents with Kitchen crew, CO's tent, My tent, Darrell's tent and two more flies.
That about fills up the space - except maybe a pup tent or two.
Pathfinder fly (my fly) and display will be up in the square area with more pup tents and any other tents.
So sound off on canvas if you were not mentioned above.

For those that haven't been there - and those that forgot. This is the layout of our unit. The main reenactor area is on the grounds surrounding the court house. Our Kitchen, C&S and HQ will set up on the small lot just south of the court house grounds. The rest on the unit will set up in the area as shown on the picture.

Reminder - Command and Staff has KP Friday.
The rest of you troops - I know where you live and will make sure everybody gets a turn.
Note - Once you are on the list it is your responsibility to ensure that position is filled. If you decide you want to run off somewhere then you have to find a replacement - and let ME know who they are.
I need to know who is planning on doing the run Saturday AM so you don't get KP Saturday morning. Fail to inform me - see note above. I'm not juggling the list once it's up.
KP's report to the Mess Sergeant the meal prior to get any special instructions and time to report for their detail.

The cooks are exempt from KP since they are cooking every meal.
Command and Staff pull KP Friday night.
The rest of the list will be developed by the order that you get your chow fund in. As it stands right now we're looking at 3 KP's for Breakfast and Supper. 2 for Lunch.
So if you want to get to the party circuit early Saturday and somewhat sleep in Sunday you better get your money in - otherwise........
And this list will roll over to our next big event. You miss it this time you'll have it breakfast Saturday morning at the next event.
