I was going over some of 1st Sgt. Peterson old threads and posts. I was looking for information on shave cream and he had posted an article from this site. There is a ton of good reading here. www.miaproject.net/ |

I could and have read his post for days, he really loved this forum and the purpose and the use for it. Great role model and outstanding leader. He spent his entire caeer in the special forces, and he came into this hobby and was very humble, soul.
He was the very fiber that kept this unit together, its gone in many directions and NOT all in good ways. So looking forward to the unit meeting and starting from the foundation up. Major changes are coming.

Building on "major changes are coming" Adam, this is my 10th year as CO/Treasurer. As I celebrate my 78th year I wonder if I'm not holding the unit back from growing. When our Command Staff was thunder-struck with the loss of Sgt. Major Peterson I was determined to soldier on as he would have wanted. All of us should try to emulate him.
Things I have seen come up that the membership needs to seriously discuss:
1. Basic uniform requirements for membership.
2. Tactical priorities.
3. Expenditures on equipment and or displays.
