Annual WAAL River Crossing Reenactment
Sept 20th 7am
McKellers Lodge and Rec area, Ft Bragg.
Visitors without proper ID will need to obtain pass through main gate visitors center prior to event.
Reenactment consists of paddling wood canvas assault boats across lake to commemorate the WAAL River Crossing.
Combat gear. Ammo and Weapons are not necessary.

Going to try and make this. I'm guessing since I don't have the coveted Real ID I have to go thru the main gate?

Without valid DOD ID visitors must use main gate access and submit to instant background check. You are then issued a 30 day pass.
Gate opens at 5am so you can go through prior to the WAAL River Crossing event.
