Any questions about the coming Skyfest let me know.
I will leave Winston-Salem at 0800 Friday morning for Johnston Regional Airport at 3149 Swift Creek Road, Smithfield, NC. I will setup the tent line and the CP. Those that can get there early the help would be greatly appreciated. Weather forecast is improving. We will not need heaters!
One more thing men. Since many troopers are coming in at varied hours it is absolutely essential that we work as a unit to get set up and breakdown. Don't stand around and watch!
It is work men. People will be watching. I will be watching. We are Charlie Company 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment! Show people why we are the best!

I will be there about 1000. All personnel are reminded to sign in on the roster upon arrival so as to keep an accurate count of the numbers attending.
Additionally, Chief will collect and mark you paid for the Mess Snacks, Breakfast and Lunch. $10 for weekend. Please bring exact amount.

ATTENTION 505 TROOPERS: As per Unit SOP, upon arrival at Skyfest sign in at the C Company HQ. At that time I will also be collecting the $10 mess mess for anyone eating out of the mess who has not already paid.
Troopers from 508th PIR eating in our Mess must pay Chief Meyer on arrival at Skyfest.

Final Post for Skyfest!
Weather continues to improve but very warm, 86! Suggest you wear Tee shirt and have several extra ones to change into Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Slight chance of rain around 1200 Saturday.
Sunrise and sunset are at 0711 and 1912.
Bring some water men. I have snack stuff for Friday night. Gatorade will be available for those that overdo it. Sunblock will be available too.
Breakfast will be served from 0730-0810. We must do this early so we can de-farb the camp. Bring your Mess Kit! Use your canteen or cup.
Sandwiches will be available at 1200. Meats, cheese and selection of condiments will be available.
Extra unit business cards will be available in the CP. Every trooper should have some of these
on their person.
I will see you on the ground!

We have passes Chief Justice.
Just in. Organization is providing a large tent for our display so no flys needed. They will set it up and break it down for us.
Troops will be housed indoors overnight in Airport pilots lounge or if you wish you can sleep outside under the tent. Cots and sleeping gear still needed
