Think we will have 4 wall tents and would like to set up the Squad Tent and as many flies as possible. Will our motor pool try to set up fly cover for jeeps (2)?

Give specifics on camping - When can we arrive to set up and when do we need to be gone from the site?

Staff is arriving on Friday at 10am to begin setup for overall event.

We are checking with organizers to clarify Saturday night camping arrangements.

So no overnight camping Saturday night right?

Requested 200 feet by 50 feet for us.  Thought originally camping was both night, Friday and Saturday.  I fear this will cut down on attendance as some troopers from Charlotte are 4 hours or more out.
Others are from Myrtle Beach area.   We can still do it.

Any further word on camping Saturday night? If we must clear out Saturday then I won't make it; getting too old to spend a day interacting with visitors, then have to break down and pack away, and then face a 6+ hour drive home at night. If we can camp Saturday night then I'll be there and will bring the big fly. What are mess arrangements?

Wayne,  suggest you pull out with me and bunk at my house Saturday, 2 hours, 10 minutes from Smithfield, continue  home Sunday morning.  Dinner and Breakfast included for a modest fee. Really want you to come buddy.

Commander had a planning meeting with USVC and he will post up results.

This is the website for tickets if you wish to share with others. The lineup of acrobatic aircraft, skydiving teams, entertainment and food vendors is unbelievable and growing. Last Skyfest had over 8k visitors.

I am going to keep this short, simple, and to the point.

Arriving on Friday on the 24th is permitted, earliest as 1000HRS. 

Uniform: is 42 or 42R.
WEB GEAR (COMBAT GEAR) 
Weapons: (whatever you own) BLANKS ONLY 
Clean and Serviceable on all items mentioned above, make sure you have garrison cap in your pocket.  
VEHICLES (BRING THEM)

DISPLAYS: Be creative and capture the attention and story for the spectators.
ALL FARB JUNK will be hidden and away from our tents and displays. 
We will drink from our Canteens and or CUPS
MAJ CACHIA will be on site, follow directions from the Commander. 

MESS - MEALS: $10 Flat fee (3MEALS)  

EVENT IS OVER AT 3pm on the 25th of MARCH and your permitted to pack up and convoy leave as early as 2pm on Saturday. 
Sorry for the inconvenience and i know this suck's, Thank You all for volunteering and the support you do for the UNIT. 

It's very appreciated and We enjoy having you all around even if it's just a few hours.

Additionally, we are being allowed to breakdown and load jeeps in convoy that leaves airfield early, around 1400. The organizers are paying us to attend.  We can use the money for fuel compensation and to buy more canvas.  USVC is an awesome organization that deserves our support.    Major Cachia

We have set a flat rate of $10 per person for the 3 meals and coffee. Boys we are not making money on the Mess Lite.
