RESCHEDULED EVENT

AA week at the 82nd Airborne Museum at Ft Bragg. Static display of vehicles and weapons on museum grounds. Overnight camping available.
Post up if you are planning to attend so Command can decide on committing assets.

I'm leaning toward the same. A day or two at Bragg and then just doing the book signing and the Currahee Run on Saturday morning....

I put in for enough time to cover one if not both events seeing the way others are planning. Haven't heard anything yet but we'll see.

That would be great Joe! Some are doing a couple of days at Bragg then heading for Toccoa. That will work.

I am arriving to AA week on Sunday to set up and help set up and stay all day Monday. Then Monday evening I will head out.
I plan on attending Toccoa with my wife Friday-Sunday.
Will we set up a display as a company, will it be an individual set up representing c/505thh PIR, or will we just attend as spectators?
I understand this is a back to back event so it is difficult to attend both events. Either way I plan on being in Toccoa. But if we do a display representing c/505th PIR I will be ready.

We will set up as much of our displays as possible! Set up on Sunday; Mess, Medical, Tent Line, Pathfinders, Weapons, Uniforms (Varied 82nd outfits), Engineers. As troopers leave we will breakdown some stuff on Wednesday night with total breakdown on Thursday morning.
I am planning some meals for those troopers staying overnight. We are going to try to hold the line on meals ($5.00 per meal). Nothing fancy boys.
Contacted Chris Ruff, Museum Curator at Bragg, and he is ready and excited for us to come to All American Week.
Chris is going to check with his Director, John Aaren. He will help us get on post. Parking for trailers and vehicles is being worked on.
Tent Line will be in order of those staying. My tent, Chief/Bradd, Adam, Aaron and Eric. That way as guys leave we will break their tent down not leaving wholes in the tent line.
Menu will be forthcoming.

P. S. You need to start thinking about which days you will be at Bragg, like Ricky J. has. Also, we may not unload all of the Mess stoves.

More info on AAW/
1. Those with trailers must use the Knox Gate at Bragg.
2. All other vehicles must use the All American Gate.
3. Those with weapons to bring in to the base go ahead and write down a) Weapons name b) serial number, to be turned in at gate.
Again sign up for days you will be on site!
