For the near and maybe foreseeable future I'm going to be on a last minute status. Inflation and the cost of just being here has caused me to take a job to keep up. Retired firemen are certainly not in the top ?% From what I see so far getting a day off is harder then getting a date with Dolly Parton. If we can get someone to agree to fill in as Medic I can train them up sufficiently in a few day's and certainly will.

Denton Food: The C & S has determined we have enough left over food stuff to provide breakfast Saturday at no charge. That leaves 2 lunches and a breakfast on your own. Food vendors are on site with good food at good prices. Supper Saturday night will be beef stew. Again, no charge to you. We have coffee, water, hot chocolate, some soda.
Bring your canteen and mess kit.

Deadline for Registration has passed.
Uniform is M42 jump uniform. Make sure your boots are polished and shined for public.
For display purposes bring your web gear, mess kits, helmets and weapons at minimum. If you are sleeping overnight Friday and or Saturday ensure that you have necessary equipment for your comfort and safety.
Report to command upon arrival and sign in with Chief Meyers.

Looking forward to seeing each of you at Denton. We are planning to do a bit of training with the 504 and 508 as time allows. Nothing extravagant but some squad formations and maneuvers. Please review the videos I have posted on the forum as we will discuss and train. We may have an opportunity to train using the half track that is scheduled to be there.

Troopers!
Tommy has asked if we would like to do a weapons demo around 1400 both Saturday and Sunday? I did not commit to it yet. I told Tommy ammo cost is going sky high so I would have to check with y'all. My M1 and 03 are .308 adapted so cost is minimal. Thompson and carbines are another story. What is your preference men?
