Doing a little hunting on youtube and found this clip on bad exits.
Anything static line related inside the A/C should have been spotted by the safety and corrected - but sometimes the jumper just fiddle fucks around back to before the safety fixed the problem. And the guy behind him should have also noted.
The jumpers with numbers on their helmets are students in jump school. Almost all of the other clips are troopers over Sicily DZ.
Notice all the weak exits and poor body positions. A good exit into a tight body position will solve almost all jump/parachute related problems.
Yes, I've been way overloaded, had a weak exit and bounced down the side of the A/C a couple of times. Something you try and not make a habit of.

Now I know why I never jumped out of a good aircraft. (And despite the fact that I usually knew who maintained those aircraft, I never flew in one that was so bad that it couldn't continue to fly.)
