Firing Demo's at 11am and 2pm. Will sign permit from city on Friday. Saturday all day & during day we can have the firing going to cook etc etc.

Another meeting tomorrow ! I will advise of any updates.As of right now Just a Saturday all day event (setup Friday). I have asked again for Camping Sat night for guys that dont want to drive home Sat evening.

Rick, im sure the guys will sign liability waivers or whatever is asked so we can camp Saturday night.

So I was contacted by the Museum director and was advised no German units were being allowed at this event. The museum board met and decision was rendered.
Unfortunate.

Possible that few vendors will be there as well. Sorry guys I pushed to have our German brothers. Board has their reasons! It is what is this in this day and age unfortunately. Maybe in the future depending the public turn out for the event. Mongo this is the museum not actual Kings Mountain park. Depart Saturday night! Just let me know if you any plan on coming. Cant have everything on the the 1st event!

Just FYI Rick, Southern Piedmont Historical Reenactors Society, SPHRS, has an insurance policy for reenactors in this area. It is $25.00 a year. Many of the Rev War guys have this. It covers personal injury while at events. I have this as does my SSGT. We have noticed that some tacticals up north are requiring a unit or individual policy.
