The Germans are planning on hosting their annual Lugoff event on Dec 11 - 13.
I would suppose it will be the typical Lugoff event.
I'll go if a few other's do.
Who's thinking about it?

Sounds like the 508th and 1st ID are going so we will probably be the hired help.
Have fly and coffee will travel.

Looks to be a light turnout for the 505th, only 6 so far.
Lugoff weather all depends on where the front comes from. It can be cold in the 20's or warm in the 50's at night.
We'll plan for cold.
Eat before you get there Friday afternoon.
We'll be cooking up chicken noodle soup with crackers for when the event goes cold Friday night. That way the troops get something hot in them before hitting the rack. You'll need a canteen cup and spoon.
Breakfast will be a fried SPAM and Cheese sandwich (Think grilled cheese with SPAM) or two and coffee. This will be "Grab the sandwich with a paper towel" - provided - and your canteen cup for the coffee.
Lunch will be field rations - bring your own.
Supper Saturday? Depends on numbers - most hit the road before 1700 hrs. If you stay for supper let us know so we can come up with something.
No charge for food - this is mostly left overs from the unit mess.
Sound off if you're in and if you're for supper Saturday.
