Louis, Thank you so much for all your great efforts to create an unrivaled addition to our endeavors to keep history alive. You and the team served wonderful meals with a keen eye on doing it RIGHT. Our kitchen has long been the envy of other units, no one could produce the amount of quality food in volume and efficiency to feed lines of troopers. Steve will be a fine addition as the new Kitchen Chief!

I can never say enough about SSgt. Jenkins. From the original 9 that stated C/505th PIR at Toccoa to his getting a Mess Crew together that is second to none in our hobby, Louis has been the man!
Do not kid yourself men, Mess is a full time job before and after an event. The $25 Mess fee is a deal for all you get. Again, Louis did the shopping, storage, hauling, with only major assists in cooking. You are welcome to just hang out any Louis. You will be missed.
