TROOPERS! We need numbers now for this event ASAP. Sheryl needs to know how many bracelets we will need. Dinner is included so some advance planning is essential. Lets go ahead and sound off here. Post "Go-Waxhaw only" or, "Go Waxhaw/Monroe."

Eating in the mess.
We need total count of troops attending for the weekend, numbers going over to the Airshow on Saturday to include their supper and the dance and numbers eating in our mess. We plan on packing up early Sunday so after we're done you can go back over to the Air Show if you want. We need numbers because we need to give Sheryl a heads up on all the numbers and she can give us the required wrist bands. She is calling for numbers now.
The Chief says - I will be manning displays at Waxhaw, but will not be going to the airshow. I will be issuing late war style laminated I. D. cards to some troops at Waxhaw. These are so each member will have both an early war tri-fold, and a late war card to show visitors. DO NOT DISCARD YOUR EARLY WAR I. D. CARD! They will be appropriate for Sicily, Normandy and Market Garden. Eventually all troops will have both styles of cards issued. Troops attending Hell's Highway will be issued Dutch currency by the 1stSgt. at that event.

Go Waxhaw/Monroe Going to the dance. Unit meeting will need to scheduled so all will be present - not sure when the dance is over Saturday night - I will be back in camp at Waxhaw after the dance.

I will be a Waxhaw. Not going to airshow.
It is very important that we have numbers, particularly for Sat evening supper, as I realize that many will be eating their meal at the airshow.

Frank and I spoke, and recommended the meeting take place Saturday morning after breakfast, before passes are issued.

How are we getting weapons thru the gate at Monroe? Will there be some authorized documentation from the airshow? We need to make sure this is properly clarified so there is no confusion the day we arrive.

A reminder for all troops, when arriving at Camp Waxhaw go directly to the Camp HQ and sign in on the roster. At that time I will be updating Personnel Data Forms for emergency contacts. Anyone who has not signed a liability waiver will be required to sign one at that time.
