Didn't see an event thread for this one so I thought I'd start one here on the open side.
Small one day living history event on Saturday. Pathfinder push because they are going to visit and clean a Pathfinder grave in the afternoon.
Bruce, Jay, take over with the date and details.
I'm a go and can be there for the day or both nights depending on what you others are doing. Will bring fly and usual stiff that goes with it.

I plan on jumping up for the day with the display that I’ll pick up from matt before hand.

There was a thread started under the 505th event planning section but it got buried as often happens. Following closure of the event at 4pm a group of reenactors will travel to a nearby cemetery to honor and clean the headstone of a WWII Pathfinder buried at that location.
This is a one day event only and will include period vehicles and period aircraft as weather permits. With the later morning start it's possible overnight stay would not be necessary. This has typically had a good public turnout including many veterans. There are food vendors on site as well and restrooms located inside the airport facility.
October 26th 10am-4pm Oxford-Henderson Airport Oxford NC
Organizer is Harry Coombs.
**** Unfortunately I am unable to attend due to work commitments.

I will be there early Saturday - and would think stopping for dinner after we complete the cemetery ceremony is a good idea......

Long range weather will be up tomorrow.
Right no rain showers on Friday - looking like it was last year.

I would bring a fly. It does look wet. If it gets really bad not many planes will be coming in either. Ponchos may be order of the day.
