I’m going to try to make it, with the Vietnam event the first weekend of Sept I may not be able too. I’ll know closer to the date. Go ahead and count me in, I’ll register and pay and what not anyways.

FYI: 101 Recon will have a small SOE detachment and a British mortar team attached.

Overall and very general area for the tactical. Don't know how much will be available or off limits for the exercise.
As you can see - lots of room.
Last time I was there the action was centered around the eastern half of the long field. Germans were on the North and Americans in the south.

All Ya'll not signed up that are thinking of coming need to shit or get off the pot. I'm cooking for the event and I ain't as nice as Louis and I'm much more anal about things.
Much like Louis I'll be prepping the weekend before the event.
So that means by a week after tomorrow I need a firm headcount as to who's going. That's next Friday.
I'll be cooking Breakfast Saturday, Supper and Breakfast Sunday. You're on you own for the rest of the meals. Try and make them as period looking as you can. Labels for Beans, etc have been passed around a number of times. Make use of them.

If there is a way, I will transfer my M1 and 03, both .308 adapted, and 400 plastic 308 rds. to the site. Also, 6 or 7 yellow Smoke or sand filled plastic grenades. Troopers using these 75 year old weapons must treat them like gold. Ammo is $8.00 per 100 rds. Grenades must be retrieved too. Feel bad I can't be with you men.

I'll make arrangements to transport your weapons Frank and get your MP40 back to you. Sure gonna miss you Cap.

Looks to be a 4 hour drive for me, so be there about 2130 to 2200 Friday night. What is the address for GPS? Is there a fee for the site and do I register or is this good for the headcount? Do I bring the fly? Are 42R's OK for this event?
