If you're ever in the area of Dunn NC, just a bit north of Ft. Bragg and quick on and off from Interstate 95 stop into the William C. Lee Airborne Museum.  It's well worth a visit and is a treasure trove of his personal belongings!  The museum link also contains a good amount of information.
