Something I still struggle with after thousands of hours of on-going range time and training. Particularly the indexed finger along the trigger well is a hard habit to break.
Not to suggest this is the end all- be all information source, but it is well done.

Lots of good info the the 90th's site. Great instructions for making your own K Rations if you have your own boxes.
Which reminds me. Somebody threw out a K Ration box at Lugoff. Stiff had three items in it. I now own the box.

Saw that box with Andrew and the tuna can. Sticking with Chicken or deviled ham.

www.90thidpg.us/Equipment/Articles/WeaponCarry/index.html Bruce that is the part I struggle with the most also. I see it in a lot of pictures and I cringe everytime I see myself doing it. But it is a hard habit to break. Placing the whole hand around the stock BEHIND the trigger guard is an acceptable WW2 carry method but maintains weapon safety.

A lifetime of carrying a firearm makes for hard habits to break - add in advanced tactical training, and it's doubly so. That said, We are already worlds better in our Waxhaw picture than we were earlier last year. This is a work in progress, we just need to keep one another accountable and remember someone is always watching and waiting for an opportunity to gouge us on something. WW2 carry is something we ALL need to work on, but is something that is absolutely in our capacity as a team to learn.
