We are going to try and get some time specific pictures for our coming web site at Waxhaw. Not going to have a group milling around - you've got other things to do. We'll start with Operation Husky.
42 uniform - no wool shirts under them. Snap rigger pouches, long bayonet and t handle shovel on a pistol belt with suspenders and musette bag.
A few shots
Sunglasses, oh my. But he's an officer and the Bn S-1. Notice the tape on suspenders.
Long bayonet and T shovel in the same place on web belt.
More rigger pouches.

We are going to use a different guy for each impression so when we put them on our web page it doesn't like we have only one person in our unit.
So you'll take Sicily?

D Day, D Day Pathfinder and Market Garden.
The Lt will be posting the specifics on the two D Day impressions and then I'll follow with Market Garden one.

I have everything for that impression. I’ll bring multiple uniforms, I have damn near everything you could need. Call me “reenactor man part deux”

Which one you want to shoot for? Matt seems hesitant about Sicily.

I can most definitely do Sicily, tell me the gear list you want to see and I’ll let ya know if I’m missing anything. Everything you mentioned up top already I have 100%. Also I have a vesicant painted helmet if that’s a Sicily thing.
I’ll have all my uniforms so any thing y’all want to do just let me know, we can get some good shot between and Matt 😂

That leaves D Day, D Day Pathfinder and Market Garden. Matt, pick the one you're doing.
That leaves two slots open. Volunteers? Don't want a guy in the photos more than once.
If your impression is close we have gear to fill you out.
I'd do one but I'm a bit old and fluffy and shouldn't be used as an example of our unit. We're looking for guys that can "do" the look.
Time to show it off.

OK, you guys had your chance to volunteer for posterity.
Voluntold List
Sicily - Ben
D Day Pathfinder - Chris W
D Day Infantry - Matt
Market Garden - Lt.
If you're short gear we'll have stuff to cover you. Only doing one period at a time and they will be spaced out over the weekend. Flag on the arm? Don't have one we can whip stitch one on with a couple of tacks.
Guys, we want a good impression section in our upcoming web site - no farby pictures.
At each event we'll get a few more based on actual photos.
Classic camp uniform picture - wool shirt, tie, wool pants, garrison cap, jump boots and a 41 jacket with the Regimental Crest on the left side.
MTO going to town - same as above but with a 42 jacket - no crest.
PT uniform - "Short" black shorts, white PT shirt (Airborne Logo), white socks and low service shoes/roughouts.

Andrew C has voluntold for the Battle of the Bulge.
Focus on the picture of the 82nd moving up - the one with overcoats over the 43s, scarf, musette bag with bedroll under the flap and a poncho/raincoat over the back of the belt. Folding E-tool on the belt.
