Troopers of C Company, 505th PIR!
We will meet at Ronnie's Roost the weekend of 2-4 December, 2022!
This vital meeting will determine the course of the unit for 2022 and beyond.
We will have porta john, electric and water on site. A menu is being constructed.
Sound off if you can attend! It is not that far away men and ladies.

Menu for Annual Meeting:
Friday night: Just snacks in camp. Going to ask Ronnie if there is a local place we can all eat supper, if not everyone is on their own.
Saturday morning: Spam and Scrambled eggs, toast, coffee, hot chocolate, oatmeal option.
Lunch: Sandwiches
Supper: Hotdogs and Baked Beans
Sunday morning: French Toast and Spam, Coffee, hot chocolate, oatmeal option.
Cost: $15 Pay at PayPal or send check made out to SHAEF to Frank M. Cachia, 4170 Prestwick Crossing, W-S, NC 27106

So, what is on the Agenda for the Annual Meeting? Would like to start meeting after lunch Saturday, 1300.
You can look at the "Attention to Orders" post, but this is a pivotal time for our unit so I am going to re-list some of what must be decided.
1. Replacing 1st Sergeant Peterson.
2. Election of 2 Board Members.
3. Election of CO and XO
4. Granting of Full Membership to those troopers with 3 events, 42 Jumpsuits, Helmet and Jump boots.
5. Promotions
6. Events - A) Tacticals and B) Other Events, Living Histories, Parades, etc. MAX Events determinization.
7. Mess Trailer and White Trailer - Future of each.
8. Old and New Business.

The unit will be holding a swap meet at this event so bring your surplus items to sell or trade and of course likewise cash or other means to pay, PayPal, Venmo etc.

Just a few comments on Annual Meeting: 2-4 December, 2022.
If you are coming just for the meeting it will start at 1300, 3rd December at 1177 Precinct Road, Pilot Mountain, NC.
Meals are $15.00 for weekend or $5.00 a meal. PayPal - fmcachia@triad.rr.com or snail mail: Frank M. Cachia, 4170 Prestwick Crossing, NC 27106 Check made out to SHAEF.
There is some firewood on site but if you have some to spare bring it.
Do you have specific events you wish to bring up?
Besides tacticals, All American Week is going back to last week in May. Cedar Rock in Burlington is again doing a time line event. (June 14)

At this point we are going to feed 5 people! Which is ok, we will have to pack less of everything. Deadline for meals is Tuesday!

! Troopers Attention to Orders!!
We will be conducting training at Ft. Smith as time and weather allows. Please go to the top of the Basic Training post under the attention to orders thread and review the Field Manual as well as the videos. These are filled with great information and we expect you to be at least familiar with the content. Expect we would conduct training on Formation of the Rifle Squad, Tactics: Rifle Squad Attack and we may do a session on building fixed positions/digging in.
