I am a maybe with the way things are going in my life So then it's needed even more, outside running and gunning, smell of gunpowder filling your nostrils...exhaling into the cold air....dirt on your hands...fumbling with cold hands to load stripper clips into your 03.... Germans closing on your position....

W.A.R. Enfield - Note from the Event Coordinator The event is a little over a week out, weather looks good. (More D-day than Bulge Temps, but at least everyone can get there safely). It is looking like over 150+ will be in attendance. We have a great event planned out and I am looking forward to seeing you all. Please remember to stop at registration when entering the property. If registering on site fee is $30.00 cash. Friday evening there will be a safety brief at registration at 18:30. If you are a REAL WORLD EMT or jeep driver we need you to attend this meeting. On Friday the Kettenhund of the Felgendarme and the U.S Military Police are to be considered event staff and are expected to be treated as such. If you have or have had any Covid symptoms within 5 days of the event please have yourself tested before arrival for the safety of everyone else. If you have symptoms and you cannot show a negative test or at the least a reasonable explanation of the symptoms ( such as head cold etc. ) you will be asked to leave. If others feel the need to wear a scarf show them the respect of choosing to use their freedom of choice. There will be referees on site, any issues with other individuals or units are to be reported up your chain of command to event staff so that it can be handled accordingly. (This includes issues with units taking hits) Please make sure your members are aware of the ROE on the Axis and Allied pages and to follow it accordingly. This is not your typical tactical. Go down where you take your hit and play out your wound cards. Do not remove your head gear and walk around or leave the field. Also, if you have a serious wound card please consider volunteering to be taken back to the aid station for treatment. The goal of our event is to get together and have fun, let's work together to give every impression the chance to do so. Bring plenty of blanks, stay safe and have fun. I look forward to seeing you at.. Wacht Am Rhein! Danke, Opa Johann

Can we make a group chat and establish who will be coming and who will be ranking for our platoon on the line? I just feel like we are going in blind right now. Would just like to know a basic plan or outline of how things should go.

Troopers,
Are you ready for this weekend?
Food: Mess Lite is ready to go. 4 planned meals.
Liquids: Mess will have coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Come to the event with canteen full, plus a bottled water.
Weather: Be READY! May have some rain then turning cold.
Listen to our Veteran Troopers! We have a wealth of knowledgeable troopers especially Dan, Ben, Bruce, Adam, Ricky and David.
Chief, Aaron and I will be in the Heavy Camp.
We have decided that we will use disposable bowls and utensils to save water for cleanup. This is only in the Heavy Camp. Those in the foxholes will probably need your mess kits.
See you on the ground!
Major Cachia

Looking forward to it - first tacticak event with 505th (first WWII tactical at all, come from Civil War Reenactor background). Should be on site mid to late afternoon Friday, need to register, pay my event fee and get my medical card from the Chief (already paid my mess fees from January).
