The 2020 Unit Meeting Event will be held at Ronnie's Roost November 6th, 7th and 8th.
The meeting itself will be at 1330 hrs on Saturday the 7th.
This will allow any in the area who can't come for the full weekend to still drive over for the day and have their input known at the meeting.
Friday will be the typical set up day. Saturday will focus on training for crew served weapons - MG's, 60mm and 81mm Mortars with a break for lunch and the meeting.
Come prepared with any events you want added to the master list. We will then vote on the Max Effort events for the year.
So far as I understand it we will have steak night Saturday night so bring your meat.
This is now the official thread for the weekend.

Anyway we could push the meeting back to like 1700? My self and Daniel won’t be able to be on the road until about 1200-1230 hrs.
We want to be there and be apart of the meeting for sure!

Also, if we aren’t doing battles and just training, can I bring my dogs? They will have tie out or cages to be in while we are training.

As a reminder - come with your list of favorite events you'd like the unit to consider.
Other than the tactical the end of January and All American Week at Ft Bragg the calendar is wide open.

We are just over three weeks out from the unit meeting.
Just over a week from now we're going to start calling for numbers and mess count. Mess money will be due in the weekend prior. The Captain will give the exact cut off time for the mess when i t gets closer to the weekend prior.

Price for weekend is $25 or $5 for each meal.

Little over two weeks out.
We'll have a sign out by the road. His driveway is just past the house on the left. Going to be hard to see after dark. Just two narrow tracks through grass.

Camp layout - general areas. Access route is pretty bumpy. If you have a small car or low ground clearance you may want to get somebody with a pickup to shuttle your stuff in. The Captain's KIA made it in and out but he knows where the bumps are.

Bottom line - it's going to be dark dark by 6 PM Friday. Try and plan your arrival time accordingly.

I’m planning on showing up Friday. Will hold a short class on how to light the immersion heaters and how to fire up the stoves (easy to accomplish). Will try to keep up with the cooks.
