Just a few things I want troopers to do now that you are home.

1)  Empty your canteen!  Turn it upside down and let it dry out. If you had something other than water in it, wash it out with hot water. 

2)  I personally empty all of magazines.  Saves the springs.  I don't empty E-Blocs.

3)  Clean your weapon!  Clean it inside and out!  That sandy soil gets into everything.

4)  If you had food in your packs get it out, especially Chocolate. 

5)  Clean your boots, put a new coat of waterproofing and polish on them.

Get ahead of preparing for the next event.

Imagine showing up at an event with only one pair of boots, going to dress out and finding this?

Going to run them down to the shoe shop today.
