Is that the one that had all the nylon ropes replaced with more period ones?
Those dark green nylon ropes really stand out as do the metal poles.

Sandwiches seemed to work well at the Company Drill - but - a number of guys brought stuff and we did a full feed on Friday night and Saturday lunch with plenty left over for a third go round if we needed.
We'll have a solid count prior to Ike's Farm so we should maybe assign responsibility. One person handle the condiments, 2 people for Friday bring the sandwich stuff, another two for Saturday night. Everybody else bring a bag of chips. If you plan to go into town to eat Saturday night - or arrive late on Friday and will eat on the road before you get there let us know so we don't have to plan for you for that meal.
Thoughts?

Guys, this will be our first time up there as a unit and we want to make a good first impression.
Two things will go hand in hand at Ike's - beverage consumption and trash removal. Our trash can will probably be my bucket with a gray bag in it.
I would rather you bring larger water containers instead of flats of single serve bottles. Keep them under your bunk and fill your canteen and drink out of that or your canteen cup during the day. (there is a water point on site and I'll have my 5 gallon jug for coffee, etc) There is a no alcohol policy at Ike's but they are not snots about it and don't run around checking after visiting hours are over. But beer bottles fill up the "trash can" pretty quick. We can squash down metal cans to save space.
Bottom line - those filling up the trash can with small water bottles and glass beer bottles will be making the most trash runs to keep the site area clear.
Lunch - we are open to the public all day which includes lunch hour. If you are eating in camp make sure it looks like period food. Put one of the labels we passed out a month ago on something or eat a K Ration. They will have at least one service trailer with food and an area with pick nick tables where you can do a non period lunch.
If you have a Pathfinder uniform - wear it - that is our primary impression for the weekend. Everyone else D Day 505th impression or if you want 43's as a Market Garden Pathfinder. Wayne is "Beaver" Sicily.
If you have a non period cot make sure you have a shelter half and have it completely covered during the day - no shiny Aluminium legs and blue nylon peaking out at the crowd.

Final list - XO, Me, Wayne, Jake, Dan, Matt, Adam, Adam's Emily, Eric and Mike M. Jim H is on the master list but is signed up with another unit.
It will be dark by 1930. Plan is to have my tent and fly up by mid afternoon. Matt's fly when his group arrives. Eric's will be set up when he gets on site.
Site layout (depending on space we get) and bunking is as per the attached picture.

Those attending the event are working had on our D Day morning impression. Fine tuning the little things.
Will post pictures on the FB page Saturday morning when we are up and running.
