Ok lads, the time has come! Who is going to the Tactical on March 8-9? We need to know numbers so we can start planning. We do have some mess coverage at this event (5 bucks) and it also costs 20 bucks to the land owner for the event. Should be a great time. Soviets on one side, us on the other and the Germans in the middle. Friday night and Saturday, we can leave late Sat evening or camp over night. Maybe dinner in town on the way out?
Anyway, speak up! Let's do the Lord's work and whup up on some Germans!
AIRBORNE!

Best head count I have so far is CO, XO, Chief, Me, Louis, Jake and Dan E.
Word is there will be a squad size element coming up from the Citadel and a couple of stray Americans.

Note to all - the box goes hot at 2000 hrs on Friday. Be on site, uniformed and ready to roll prior to 1930 hrs. The op order for American units will be given at 1930 hrs.
The Russians are our Allies for the weekend. We will try and divide the battle space along a terrain feature so we don't end up having a night engagement with our friends.
Patrols will roll out at 2000 hrs and camp defense will be in place at that time.

Reminder - Lugoff is a dry site. Show up with your canteens full. If you have an extra canteen fill it and put it in your musette bag.
The kitchen will have 10 gallons of water for coffee, cooking and cleaning.
Breakfast will be served on paper plates to cut down on cleaning - and time. You'll need your spoon and canteen cup.

Menu will consist of toast, gravy, boiled eggs, and spam.
Each man will be given four boiled eggs. You may eat them all at breakfast, or save a couple for lunch. Spam will consist of two pieces per man.
Coffee may be limited depending on how much we can make prior to step off time. At least everyone will get one canteen cup each. Sugar and creamer will be furnished.
There will not be immersion heaters. There will not be a water access point. Bring your own water. Full canteen, possibly two if you have them.
It will cost each man five dollars if he wants to participate in breakfast. Money payable to Capt. Cachia, check or PayPal in the amount mentioned above.
Be sure to bring your own C rations or K rations for lunch.

Additional info:. Payment is due to Capt. Cachia the Monday evening before the event.

Light data Friday Sunset 1824 hrs, End Civil Twilight 1849 hrs. Moon - Pretty much none for the weekend - new moon on the 6th, less that 4% inlum and gone by 2030. Saturday Begin Civil Twilight - 0616 hrs, Sunrise 0641 hr
If it is cloudy there will be some sky glow from the town of Lugoff. Clear and we'll have stars but it will be dark under and around the trees.
Same illummination as last time. Somebody could be standing 20 feet from you and you wouldn't see them.
